Are you seeking a sense of peace?

After experiencing loss or trauma, you may feel like you'll never be yourself again.

Becky Witt, LCSW

Grief can be painful and complicated. You may be grieving the death of someone you love, the end of a relationship, a reproductive loss, the loss of a job, or the death of a beloved pet. Feeling overwhelmed and stuck after such a loss can make moving forward seem too much. Perhaps others have encouraged you to "move on" or suggested that you should be finished grieving by now. But grief does not follow a timeline; you deserve the time and space to process your loss in your own way.

Trauma affects how you experience yourself, your relationships, and the world around you. Experiencing flashbacks, intrusive thoughts, anxiety, difficulty sleeping, or constantly being on alert can be overwhelming. It's difficult to talk about what happened and often feels like no one truly understands.

I'm Becky Witt, a licensed clinical social worker. I use a compassionate, guided approach to support clients experiencing grief and loss or recovering from trauma. I offer individual therapy for adults of all ages, including older adults, through telehealth across Colorado.
